No matter what form of strength training you're in to, the right image can take you one step closer to your next PR. This competition gives you a chance to show off your favourite photo or illustration - whether it's an image of a world record deadlift, one of your own PRs or simply something that makes you want to go and lift heavy things.
To enter, just upload a photo or illustration (one of yours, of course); and get ready to vote on the entries when the competition ends in mid-March. The top 10 or so will be made into desktop wallpapers of various sizes; ready for your downloading pleasure.

Adam Glass, of course. Nice one.
Via Run to Win : ESPN notes that Olympic athletes will now be able to blog during the games in Beijing (with restrictions, of course). Should be good.
Sally points to a great series of benchmarks over at CrossFit Seattle. As you might expect, these are somewhat tougher than the usual fitness magazine fodder. Good stuff.
Via the Chicago Tribune : Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is writing a series for the LA Times, beginning with a look at the all-important area of core training. A great read.
